Rip it off !

Rip it off ! ( Mark 5 : 19-34 ) Do you have any plasters you need to rip off ? You can’t hide all your wounds before the healer.

The infirm woman had been suffering from a haemorrhage (a consistent flowing of blood) for 12 years. This woman’s constant hemorrhage was a disaster It left her anemic, weak, breathless. She was outcasted, burning of shame, hurt of all the pain she was in. Have you ever felt so weak spiritually, mentally and physically because i’ve face all three at different times but imagine all of these factors at once. Draining.

Healing is very necessary in every situation we’re in. We tend to cover up wounds but we need to let it heal. I noticed, I started to cover up my problems and all that i’ve been through rather than just casting my cares to God. The funny thing is that God unravels you and takes off the plaster so you can heal, but this process only took place in my life, when I placed my wounds at his feet. What departments need healing ? Relationships, Abuse, Friends, An absent Father or Depression. I have been through some of these factors but the difference is that Jesus healed me from all the wounds that the issues caused me. Same way he healed the woman with her issue of blood. Lets not turn to man to try and heal us because they will just make your wound deeper. That guy that you think will fill the void of a broken heart and a broken soul will not heal ! Who are you trusting, who are you relying on and what are you placing your trust in. (Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. Psalms 146:3 ). That friend, that guy, that boy, that aunty will not be there to heal you. Step out of that crowd like the woman with flowing blood and grab on to Jesus after 12 years she finally got tired of going to man. Aren’t you tired because I got tired age 12/13 but it didn’t take until age 16 ‘tiI I took of the plasters.

Plasters only stop the cut from being infected it doesn’t help it heal. Lets stop hiding our issues from God and let his spirit heal YOU.

Let God heal you before you take you unhealed wounds to 2016. How long do you want to spend suffering in pain and hardship ? How long will you spend your life forgetting the almighty God you serve?

God is ready to remove any stronghold through his son JESUS !

She was tired, weak, fed up of seeking help from men.

The woman no longer cared about what others thought of her, she chased Jesus, pushed through the massive crowd and allowed Jesus to make her clean.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.-(Psalms 147:3, NIV)

Through his healing may you have found his grace just like me and others and may there be divine restoration
